USAT Pacific Northwest Region Selects Idaho Sport Authority to Another Two-Year Term
Local triathlon professional Michael Hays accepts USAT’s invitation to continue to serve on regional committee.
Colorado Springs, CO, Friday, January 08, 2010: USAT, the official governing body of triathlon in the United States, has again tabbed Michael Hays of Idaho Falls, Idaho, to serve on the Pacific Northwest Regional Council.
Hays will continue to work in all aspects of USAT development with specific responsibility in the areas of Race Development and Public Relations. Having contributed greatly to the growth of the sport of triathlon in the Pacific Northwest Region, which includes Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, Hays will be also asked to help in the area of developing the Juniors program and serve as an ambassador at regional events.
Hays continues as race director of the three largest triathlons in eastern Idaho and is unquestionably the driving force for the sport in the region,
